Norma M. Suttell, age 93, of Eden, New York, died Saturday, January 2, 2016. She was born on March 18, 1922 in Buffalo, New York. The daughter of late Edward and Mary Brickel. Norma worked at Frontier Central School System in Hamburg, New York for over 20 years. She was known as a fabulous crocheter working all year long making hats, scarfs, mittens and gloves to donate to the poor at Christmas time. She enjoyed playing bingo and cards, but most of all she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Norma is preceded in death by her husband, Nelson L. Suttell and her siblings; Mildred Owen, William Brickel and Irene Berg. She is survived by her sons; Gary (Sharon) Suttell and Gordon (Elaine) Suttell, a daughter in law, Roberta Evans, five grandchildren; Tammy, Robert, Gordon, Jr., Michael and Gary, Jr.; seven great grandchildren; Brittney, Emma, Megan, River, Grayson, Arlyn and Kylie. Also survived by several nieces, nephews and her special caregiver, Jenny Bushey. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, January 16, 2016 at 11:00AM in the Laing Funeral Home Inc. 2724 West Church St. Eden, NY. Flowers gratefully declined.
