I've known Chad since we were in high school. After that we would often hang out with friends in East Eden. We eventually took our own paths and didn't see each other for quite a while. Chad was usually quiet and reserved, but he had a good sense of humor, and sometimes could even be a bit mischievous. I last saw him a few years ago by chance at Letchworth State Park, where I learned he was employed. We spoke for a while and parted ways. I am so sad to find out he is now gone. I would not have even known he passed, if not for the fact that I was looking up an old neighbor who happened to be at the same funeral home. My sincerest condolences to his family and friends at this most difficult time.
