My love and gratitude for Vi is immense. Having Karen for my first and closest childhood friend, Vi always allowed me to be a part of your family. So many sleepovers, playing Barbies and Trolls in your basement, catching frogs in your pond, riding our bikes down Grandma's hill, making a clubhouse out of an old scale create, going to the drive-in movies in your big station wagon, camping at Darien Lake, riding snowmobiles, and much more. Yet, the memory closest to my heart is her laugh. At times she would laugh so hard, she would be crying. My memories are full of joy and adventure. Thank you, Vi for being so good to me. Mama it's Me! I grieved you so hard when I woke up this past Sunday. Like always it would not be long before I would get a phone call from you, because you always knew when to call as if you sensed my pain. Well, Sunday was tough for me as I did not have you to reach out to or to tell you how sad I am. I miss you terribly. But, I understand you needed to go home to be with God. Your body was tired, you had no more fear and you made peace within. You lived your final days with such dignity, love and most of all grace. I love you mom for all you have taught me and my sisters as you will forever live within me and my boys. Thank you mom! Love, Me.
