Posts to the tribute of Richard Allen Sendor

My condolences to the sendor family. Rick was a good man, I never knew he went to school with my sister, until the day met at cruise night. We talked about cars ,family and even had a few beers together. After that first meeting we were friends, and he was a man who always made you feel like you mattered. A kind hearted man as well. He is probably cruising around with his wife in heaven as we speak. Much love you Rick!

Rick was a great friend of mine in high school. He was an extremely kind and gracious to me and always made me feel like I mattered. I was very impressed by his strong work ethic in high school. Rick worked long hours to stay busy and finance a car that he dearly loved. When we were both students in Mr. Rieflers Agricultural Class, we did a project together on the production of Maple Syrup, it involved a trip to a sugar bush in his very special car. After that trip, he said he would always call me his “ Maple Syrup Gal”. We were good friends and Rick always made you feel special during the awkward teenage years. My thoughts and prayers are with all of Rick’s family at this time. We have lost a true gentlemen.. Deborah Hatfield Yancey Eden High School Class of 1972

We met Rick after Denise became fast friends with Melinda in college. Tim and I had so many great memories of camping, going to concerts and just plain craziness with Rick. We have kept in touch over the years and he always called on our birthdays to wish us a great day. Rick was a special friend and will be greatly missed. With love, rest in peace Rick.
