Teresa Doering (Nee: Grasso), age 70, passed away suddenly, but peacefully, surrounded by her family on March 18, 2026.
Teresa was the beloved daughter of the late Samuel and Jeanette (DelVecchio) Grasso. She was the wife of the late Dale Doering, the loving mother of the late Jason Thomas, Timothy John, Paul Michael (Jeanine), Michelle Lynn (David), Lisa Marie and Patricia Nancy (Deon). She was the cherished and proud grandmother of Salvatore, Denniella, Xavier, Cierrah,
Isaiah, Harmony, Silas, Johannah, Isabella and Aneila. Also blessed with one great grandchild; Samuel. Teresa was the devoted companion of Kenneth Washington. She was also survived by her brothers, sisters, many relatives and friends.
Teresa was a homemakers who dedicated her life to her children and grandchildren, making memories and sharing her love, compassion and faith with everyone she met.
She was a selfless woman who always put others before herself. She was the mom who took everyone in. She radiated kindness as well as a great listener with a gentle spirit. She was an avid Buffalo Bills fan, a Josh Allen fan and was known as “The News”. She always knew what was going on. She never missed anyone’s calls or any opportunity to share Jesus Christ or her faith. She enjoyed her Thursday night Bible Studies.
Teresa battled many trials and obstacles throughout her life but stayed steadfast to her faith.
She lived her life with simplicity, faith and love. As her children stated they are truly blessed to have a mother like her!
Family and friends are invited to a beautiful service for Teresa at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 3478 N. Boston Rd, Eden, NY, on Sunday, March 22, 2026 at 3:00PM.
