Ron was born February 21, 1957, and passed away peacefully surrounded by family on April 12, 2025. He was predeceased by his parents, Irving J. and Eileen A.(nee Oetinger)Evenden.

Ron is survived by his children, Ronald Jr. (Jessica) and Kristen.

Grandchildren Skyler Marie, Hayleigh, Aubrey, Nova, Winston and Kyra Jean.

Brother of the late Patricia (late Tom), Brian (Teresa), Ed (Wendy) and Jeff (Sandy).

Ron was a kind and loving father and grandfather who enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren. He shared his love of being outdoors, his sense of humor and just about everything else he had with us, including his unconditional love. He will be missed by everyone that knew him. Ron was a member of the Hamburg Volunteer Fire Department since 1981, where he served as Fire Chief for 6 years.

Services will be held Wednesday April the 16th, 2025 at Laing Funeral Home in Eden from 2pm-4pm and 7pm-9pm with prayer service held at 8:30pm.
