Helen Margaret Bailey

Helen passed peacefully on September 13, 2025.

She was born on May 4, 1926 in Buffalo, NY, to Carl and Margaret Stiefler. She was a long-time resident of Eden, NY, having moved there with her husband, the late Lee Bailey, in 1952.  Helen had five children, the late Charles (Shirley), Susan (late Gary), Maryanne (Philip) Belasik, Priscilla (Steven) Smith and the late Gina.

Helen was a multi-talented woman. She was an avid roller skater, who celebrated her 80th birthday roller skating at a roller rink party.  She was a gardener, a knitter, a quilter, a seamstress, and a dabbled in many other forms of needlework. Helen was involved in the Eden Home Bureau for many years, including a stint as president.

Helen is survived by her sisters, Paula Nelson and Ruth Danick.

Also survived by grandchildren, Bret Moore and Bradley Bailey, Cooper and Dylan Belasik, Lily and Reiley Smith, and great grandchildren, Veronica and Zachary Moore, Mina Bailey, Selena and Luka Belasik.

There will be no prior visitation or service. If you wish to honor Helen, donations may be made in her name to the Eden Emergency Squad, 2791 ½ E. Church St., Eden, NY 14057
