It was an honor to have known Mr Shaffer, and to have worked for him back in the day. I learned so much from this man that i carry with me to this day. Not only good work ethics but also how to treat people and how to listen to them even if we know what they are conveying to us . Not only was i so fortunate to have been surrounded by the teachings of my own father, but also to have this man's direction that influenced many things in my life. RIP Boss, father, teacher, coach and friend. Lastly, I think he missed his calling as Pepsi's walking advertisement for the last 65+ years.
