Obituary of Anthony "Tony" H. Preischel

Anthony H. “Tony” Preischel, age 87, of Eden, New York died Friday, November 21, 2025. He was born May 12, 1938. He was the son of the late Anthony and Loretta (Telaak) Preischel. He was married to his loving wife Dolores (Schumer) until her death on August 3, 2006. They were married for 49 years.

Tony Preischel farmed for over 60 years on the family dairy farm known today as  Preischel Farms Inc.  He enjoyed farming and his John Deere Tractors.

He was the loving husband of the late Dolores (Schumer), the father of Denise (Pete) Logel, Anthony (Brooke) Preischel, Jr., Tom (Mandie) Preischel and the late Deborah (late Christopher) White. Grandfather of eight and great grandfather of two.

He was the brother of Annette (late Pete) Schunk, Tootsie (late Jerome) Schmitz and the late Eileen (late Norman) Schunk.

Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of life will be held Saturday, January 31, 2026 from 12 noon to 6PM at the Eden VFW, 2551 March Rd Eden, NY.
