Obituary of Marcia L. Romanowski

Marcia Lynn Romanowski, age 61, of Eden, New York, passed away on Friday, February 6, 2026.

Marcia was the devoted daughter of the late Michael E. Romanowski and  Marjorie A. Romanowski. She was a sister to Matthew C. Romanowski and an aunt to four nephews and two great-nieces. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Marcia had a lifelong love of football and truly enjoyed watching and talking about the game. She appreciated the sport as a whole and enjoyed every team, finding joy in the excitement and camaraderie football brought. She especially enjoyed the Buffalo Bills and the Notre Dame Fighting Irish.

She also loved watching old television sitcoms and videos. Marcia enjoyed having phone conversations with friends, sending cards, and going out to lunch.

Marcia was always grateful to those who assisted and cared for her, most recently the medical teams and staff of Mercy Hospital, Buffalo General Hospital, and Elderwood of Hamburg, as well as the friends who sent cards, gifts, and made phone calls during the past four months as she bravely battled acute pancreatitis.

A graveside service will be held at a later date.

Memorial donations may be made to the Eden–North Collins Food Pantry in Marcia’s memory.
