Obituary of Jocelyn J. Bos

Jocelyn J. Bos 89 of Eden, New York, died Saturday, October 9, 2010 in her daughters' home. She was born in Buffalo, New York, the daughter of Jabez Seldon and Jocelyn (Parker) Woodward. Mrs. Bos was a member of the Eden Town Rec Board, the Eden Garden Club, and the Eden Park Committee. She was also a member of the O.S. Tennis Club, the Red Jacket Ski Club, member of "The Wakers" club, a member of HELP, and Chairwomen of Planned Parenthood Drive in Eden for several years. She was a former member of Trinity Episcopal Church. She married her loving husband William J. Bos on March 28, 1943. Mrs. Bos is survived by her children Steven J. (Gail) Bos, Jocelyn S. Bos, Jeffrey S. (Heather) Bos and a daughter in law Lydia Bos. Also surviving are her sister Phyllis W. Ellwood and 8 grandchildren; Erica Callahan, William "Will" (MaryEllen) Bos, Aaron Bos, Alex Bos, Hadley Bos-Fisher, Jocelyn Bos-Fisher, and Sarah Bos, and Jason Roos. 6 great grandchildren also survive. Besides her parents, her husband William J. Bos, a son William S. Bos, a grandson; Danny Roos, and a brother in law Grover O. Ellwood predeceased her. No prior visitation. A graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family.
