Eden Evergreen Cemetery located in Eden New York

THE EDEN CEMETERY ASSOCIATION

The Eden Cemetery Association was formed in 1845 at which time a small parcel of land on the north side of East Church Street was purchased. An earlier cemetery was located in the back of the Town Hall, near Ryther Creek. In 1909 the graves were moved to the present site now in use. Between 1845 and 1909, each landowner was responsible for care of his or her own lot. The Eden Cemetery Assoc. was incorporated on April 20, 1909 and is known as The Eden Evergreen Cemetery. As a non profit corporation, it is subject to the rules and regulations of The State of New York.

Today, the cemetery's day-to-day operations are overseen by an elected board of volunteer trustees. The association takes pride in our beautiful cemetery that enhances the aesthetics of the Town of Eden. Whether you have loved ones buried and remembered here, a lot owner yourself, or just a citizen of our town, please know your tax deductible donations and bequeths are greatly welcomed. We receive no funding from the Town of Eden.

If interested in purchasing a lot or making a contribution please call or write our Superintendent:
