Obituary of Eunice Marie Knoll

Knoll-Eunice M. (Nee: Sixt) 87 died Friday November 20, 2009 peacefully in her home. She was the daughter of the late Bert J. and Madeline M. (Kern) Sixt. She married her loving husband, the late Harry W. Knoll. Mrs. Knoll was a member of the Eden Senior Citizens and the Immaculate Conception Senior Citizens. Mrs. Knoll was also a member of the Church's Alter and Rosary Society and sang in the choir for many years. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary. She also volunteered at the Eden- North Collins Food Pantry and for the Red Cross. She had a love for life, enjoyed traveling and a voice for singing. She is well known for he generosity, fun spirit, and always going out of her way for others. Mrs. Knoll is survived by her sister Lois Friedrich; four grandchildren, Kymberly Partridge, Vinh V.( Hahn) Nguyen, Thai Truong, and Phong Truong. Also surviving are her three great grandchildren, Jennifer, Jessica, and Sean. Many nieces and nephews also survive. Besides her husband Harry W. Knoll, she is predeceased by her daughter Cynthia Ann Partridge. Family and friends are invited to call at the Laing Funeral Home Inc. 2724 W. Church St Eden NY, Monday November 23, 2009 from 2PM-4PM & 7PM-9PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday November 24, 2009 at 10:00AM in the Immaculate Conception Church Eden. Burial will be held in the Evergreen Cemetery, Eden Flowers are gratefully declined.
