Obituary of James F. Salzman

James F. Salzman, 64, of Eden, New York, died suddenly Friday, May 11, 2012. He was born in Eden on April 3, 1948, the son of the late Floyd and Grace Salzman. He married his loving wife, Carla J. Grass on July 5, 1969. He was an owner of the Salzman's Farm in Eden, New York. He was a long time member of the Farm Bureau, served on the Board of Directors of the Eden Valley Growers, and was a 4-H leader. He was the beloved husband of Carla (Nee: Grass), devoted father of Kristin (Scott) Bley, Heidi (Jason) Blidy and Laurel (Steven) Migliore, loving grandfather of Trevor, Tyler, Samuel and Caroline brother of Ronald (Marilyn) and uncle of many nieces and nephews. Friends invited to call from 2-4pm and 7-9pm Tuesday, May 15, 2012 at the Laing Funeral Home Inc. 2724 W. Church St. Eden.
