Hollis Eisele passed away in DeLand Florida on May 14 at 97 years of age. Beloved wife of Stewart, mother of Judy and sister of Pat Warden and Harriet Moulthrop who all predeceased her. Holly is survived by her sister Julie Laing-Myers, three sons, Michael, Stewart Jr., and James, daughter-in-law Gaby, four grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Holly was born in Eden, daughter of Jennie and Howard Hill, one of the founding families of the town. Holly was a graduate of Fredonia State Teachers College and taught at Evans and Eden elementary schools for nearly 16 years after having worked for Niagara Mohawk in Angola. Holly and Stewart retired to DeLand, Florida in 1972 to an active and travel filled life. To celebrate her 85th birthday, Holly went sky-diving and become one of the oldest to do so at the time. Her energy and love will be missed greatly by her family and friends. A memorial service will take place at the gravesite in Eden Evergreen Cemetery, Monday, June 4, 2012 at 11AM
