Dorothy M. Miller, 80, of Eden, NY died Monday July 16, 2012 at St. John Medical Center in Westlake, OH where she was visiting her sister. She was born on April 8, 1934 in Portage, PA one of 16 children of Edward and Mary Flynn.
Dorothy married her husband Richard in 1952 when he returned from the service during the Korean Conflict. They moved to in Eden in 1956 where they raised their family have lived ever since. On July 23 they would have celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary.
Dorothy enjoyed crocheting but loved her 5 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband Richard L. Miller, Sr.; two sons, Richard (Leeann) Jr. and Joseph; 5 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren; a sister, Elizabeth Hamilton and a brother Richard Flynn.
Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, July 19th from 2:00-4:00 & 7:00-9:00 PM at the Laing Funeral Home Inc. 2724 W. Church St. Eden.
A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, July 20th at 10:00 AM in Immaculate Conception Church, 8791 S. Main St. Eden. Burial will take place following the mass in Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Eden.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice Foundation of WNY Inc. 225 Como Park Blvd. Buffalo, NY 14240.
