Matthew J. Carnall, 24, of Lackawanna, NY died Wednesday, March 27, 2013 in Mercy Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was born July 11, 1988 in Boston, New York; the son of Edward (Kelly) Carnall and late Dawn (DeBalski) Cross.
Matthew was known for his love of camping, playing catch and his movie time. He enjoyed watching the Sabers and the Bisons. He enjoyed his yearly trips to the Eden Cornfestival and the fair. Matthew enjoyed being around people and had the ability to touch everyone's heart that he had met.
He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
Besides his mom Dawn, Matthew is preceded in death by his grandparents; late Robert (Betty) Carnall and late Paul (Marilyn) DeBalski.
Besides his father Edward (Kelly), Matthew is survived by brother of Michael, Shannon Carnall and Douglas Taft. Also survived by several Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Ellen and the dedicated and loving staff at the Amber Lynne Group Home.
Visitation and service are private.
