We have lost a true friend today. A friend I thought was a true inspiration. A kind, classy, generous person. I have lots of fond memories of Mrs. Laing as a next door neighbor and loving mother of my playmates. I also remember seeing her each week in the Methodist Church choir with her lovely voice. After not seeing her for many, many years, when I saw her again a couple years ago, she was the same sweet, friendly lady that I remembered from my childhood. She will be missed.
My thoughts and prayers are with the whole family.
