Mildred I. Ludwig (Nee Vail) 91 of Eden died in her home surrounded by her loving family. She was the daughter of the late William and Pearl (Barker) Vail. She was the dear wife to the late Donald Ludwig. She loved to knit and crochet. Her home is filled with many afghans that she has made. She was known to many as "The Little Sweetheart."
Mrs. Ludwig is survived by her children Donna Ludwig, Roger Ludwig, and Susan (Garry) Roseman, her grandchildren; Reni and Tyler Roseman. Also surviving are a brother Howard Vail and three sisters Pearl (Peggy) Vail, MaryLou Wilmore and Maidie Janik.
Predeceased are her parents, husband, brothers George, Russell, William and Robert Vail, sisters Iva Bartula, and Betty Churchill.
Family and friends are invited to call at the Laing Funeral Home Inc. 2724 West Church St. Eden NY on Sunday, February 14, 2010 from 2PM-4PM
Funeral Services will be private.
Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery, Hamburg, NY
Flowers are gratefully declined.
