Obituary of William A. Newton

Newton- William (Bill) Allen, age, 86, of Eden New York died Sunday, September 22, 2013. He was the beloved husband and best friend for 62 years of Constance (Miller) Newton. Father of William (Diane) Newton of Rochester, NY, Jayne (James) Walker of Eden, NY and late Steven Newton. Cherished grandfather of Heather (Jon) Senchyna and Tracy Newton, great grandfather of James Senchyna. Survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his sister Susan Franklin of Forestville, NY. Bill served in the Navy Reserves and the U.S. Army Air Corps in Okinawa during World War II. He was retired from S.M. Flickinger in 1990 after 30 years of service. He was a member of Teamsters Union 558 and the American Legion Newell-Faulkner Post 880. Family invites friends to call Thursday, September 26, 2013 from 3:00pm to 5:00pm and 7:00pm-9:00pm at the Laing Funeral Home Inc. 2724 West Church St. Eden, NY. A Celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, September 28, 2013 at 12:00PM at the Wesleyan Church of Hamburg, 4999 Mckinley Pkwy, Hamburg, NY.
