Laura J. Mazzetti (nee Alimonti), age 88, of Derby, New York, died Sunday, January 26, 2014. She was the daughter of Vincent and Rose (Dragonette) Alimonti. She was born May 10, 1925 in Buffalo, New York.
Laura was an avid gardener who loved growing and canning vegetables. She was proud of her flower gardens especially the roses. Laura loved cooking and baking, but her family was what she loved the most.
Laura married her loving husband of 68 years, Aldo A. Mazzetti, in Buffalo, New York on January 5, 1946.Together they had four children; Judy (Gary) Almond, Jerry (Beverly), Laurie (Kyle) Roche', and the late James (Sharon).
She was the sister of Andrew (Rose), and Katherine (late Branko) Schiffer, Late Eugene (Rose), Mary (Chester) Beres, Teresa (Gino) Mazzetti, Junelle (Gerry) and Joe (Matilda).
Loving Grandmother to Joshua (Megan), Dr. Jed (Dr. Megan), Hayley, Dylan, Nick, Mark, Lisa (Chris), Jennifer (Jay).
Great Grandmother to Ben, Hannah, Isaac, Luke, Katie, Alex, Elleri, Cole and Allison.
