James L. Anderson, age 86, of Eden, New York died unexpectedly on Friday, February 7, 2014.
He was born March 28, 1927 in Sacket, PA. He was the son of the late James and Dorothy (Jefferds) Anderson.
He served his country in World War Two in the Navy. He was a member of the VFW Memorial Post 8625, Eden., where he was a former Quarter Master.
He was the devoted husband of Evangeline (nee Smutz), the
loving father of James L. (Susan) Anderson, the
brother of Elnora Johnson, Dora Wedlock and late Donna Anderson, the
grandfather of Erick (Karen Meader) Anderson, Brian Anderson, Bethany (Jon) Gabel and Jeffrey (Natalie) Anderson and the
great grandfather of Bailey and Madalyn Gabel.
Family invites friends to call Tuesday, February 11, 2014 from 12:00pm-3:00pm followed by a funeral service at the Laing Funeral Home Inc. 2724 W. Church St. Eden. Flowers gratefully declined. Memorial may be made to the Eden Emergency Squad.
