Obituary of Jason T. Doering

Jason T. Doering, age 37, went home to be with his Lord Tuesday, April 15, 2014 surrounded by his family. He was recently diagnosed with Stage 4 Angio Sarcoma Cancer- an incurable terminal cancer of the blood vessels and soft tissue which spread throughout his body. He was diagnosed with a kidney disease at the age of 17 called IGA Nephropathy in which attacked and destroyed his kidneys. Jason had 2 unsuccessful transplants at the ages of 29 and 27 leaving him on kidney dialysis for the past 10 years. In light of all events, Jason had remained strong and faithful. HE was determined to finish his graphic novel in which he wrote and illustrated. He was a great help to his family, friends and churches that surrounded him, volunteering his time when he was able. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. He was the loving son of Teresa and late Dale Doering; the caring brother of Timothy (Lucia) Doering, Paul (Jeanine) Doering, Michelle (Dave) Hicks, Lisa Marie Doering & Patricia (Deon) Scott. Survived by several Aunts, Uncles, Nieces and Nephews. Family invites friends to call Friday, April 18, 2014 from 2-4PM & 7-9PM at the Laing Funeral Home Inc. 2724 W. Church St. Eden.
