Obituary of Angeline Szal

Angeline Szal, 84 of Eden NY passed away peacefully at Mercy Hospital on Mother’s Day, May 11, 2014. Born in Eden, she was the daughter of the late Alexander and Valentina (Matuszewski) Wierzba. She was a dedicated mother to her sons, Jon, Alan and Bradley by whom she will be sorrowfully missed. She was known as the strong willed frizzy blonde from Eden. Taking great pride in her home, she could often be found sweeping her driveway early in the morning. She was also a frequent spectacle at casinos across the United States and Canada. Angeline is predeceased by her siblings, Edward and Edmund Wierzba, Irene Corp, Raymond, Stanley, Theodore and Richard Wierzba, Helen Kwilos and Sophie Dabelle. Besides her sons she is survived by 54 nieces and nephews. Private services will be held at the convenience of her family. Those wishing to do so may make memorials to Mercy Hospital.
