Obituary of Charles F. L. Mohr, II

Charles F.L. Mohr, II, age 90, of Amherst, New York died on Saturday, June 21, 2014. He was the son of the late Charles F.L. (Ruth) Mohr. He was born on December 19, 1923 in Buffalo, New York. He proudly served his country during World War II in the U.S. Navy. He was a member of the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary for over 30 years and American Legion. He held his Private Piolets License for over 40 years. He will be remembered as a tough, tough individual with an invincible and stubborn side. He was a man of his word that had a very firm hand shake. He enjoyed fishing. He was the loving father of Mark Mohr and Charles (Ruth) Mohr, III; the grandfather of Charles (Casey) Mohr and Marshall Mohr and the great grandfather of Josephine Mohr. He was a special friend to Virginia Rowland. A Memorial Service will be held at the Laing Funeral Home Inc., 2724 W. Church St. Eden, NY at 7:00PM on July 9, 2014. Flowers gratefully declined.
