Joseph R. Miller Sr. passed on July 4th 2014 after a gallant battle with esophageal cancer. He is survived by his father Richard L. (late Dorothy) Miller, a brother Richard L. Miller Jr., two sons Joseph R. Miller Jr., Gregory M. Miller, a daughter Jessica R. Morgan and several grandchildren.
Joe worked at Chenango Foundry and Sorrento cheese factory before moving to Syracuse where he worked for Fayetteville-Manlius school district, Manlius Nice & Easy and delivered Syracuse Post Standard newspapers.
There will be a graveside service July 21 at 10AM in Immaculate Conception cemetery in Eden NY where his remains will be laid beside his beloved mother. As he loved the outdoors there will be a celebration of his life at Green Lakes State Park site # 12 the evening of July 21st-July 25th all are welcome.
