MARIAN M. ERRINGTON, 89, of East Eden, lovingly known as "Tootsie", went to rest on Thursday March 19th, 2015, following a brief illness at Mercy Hospital. She was born February 4th, 1926 in Boston NY, the daughter of the late Walter and Mildred (Smith) Gier. She was a devoted catholic who's favorite pastime was Monday night Bingo. Surviving relatives include her husband of 66 years, William Errington, whom she married October 23, 1948, three sons Ronald Errington (South Carolina), William Errington Jr. (Attica, NY), Daniel Errington (Buffalo, NY) and three daughter Edith (Philo) Parkhurst (Conewango Valley, NY), Pauline (Gary) Masters (Irving, NY) and Brenda (Robert) Dillon (South Carolina). Also Surviving are her two sisters Mildred Murray (Florida) and Margie Lockwood (Syracuse, NY), 19 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, along with several cousins, nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her sister Dorothy Trevett. A catholic mass in her honor will be held at Saint John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church at 6895 Boston Cross Road, Boston, NY, on Saturday, March 21, 2015 at 10am. A grave side memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to Laing Funeral Home Inc, 2724 West Church Street, Eden, NY 14057.
