Obituary of Richard G. Hauser

Richard G. Hauser, age 74, of Eden, New York died suddenly in his home on Tuesday, April 14, 2015. He was born February 21, 1941 in Buffalo, New York. He was the son of late George and Shirley Hauser. He proudly served his country in the Marine Corp from 1958-1962. He was a member of the American Legion Newell-Faulkner Post #880 , the Marine Corp League Niagara Frontier # 239 and the D.A.V. Association 3 177. Richard will be remembered for his big heart, his wonderful personality and his self-less-ness. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He also loved his grand dogs; Cameo, Daisy and Wesley. He loved his cat patches as well. He was the Beloved husband of Margaret V. Lachut-Hauser and late Nilda Rodriguez; the loving father of Dawn (Colleen Zimmerman) Hauser, Denise Hall and Darryl (Amy Williams) Hauser. Step father of Daniel (Patricia) and Dennis (Darlene) Lachut. Grandfather of Luke and Josh Hauser. Step Grandfather of Meaghan Lachut, Chandos and Cassidy Carrow. Brother of 8 brothers and 8 sisters. Brother-in-law of Thomas VanSickle. Uncle to numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by 1 brother. Family invites friends to call Friday, April 17, 2015 from 2pm-8pm at the Laing Funeral Home Inc. 2724 W. Church St. Eden. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, April 18, 2015 at 10AM in Immaculate Conception Church. A full Military service will take place after mass.
