Chester A. Hornberger, age, 88, died in his home in East Eden, New York on Friday, May 29, 2015. He was born in East Eden on July 27, 1926. He was a son of Chester and Mary Hornberger. He married his loving wife; Lillian M. Schreiber on April 30, 1955 at St. Mary’s Church in East Eden. They were married for 60 years. Chester enjoyed working on his dairy farm, Hornberger Brother’s Farm until his retirement. He enjoyed hunting, gardening, bowling and especially fishing. He also liked playing cards and watching sports. Loving husband of Lillian M. (nee: Schreiber) Devoted father of Sandra (Robert) Pericak, Craig (Donna) Hornberger, Kevin (Cindy) Hornberger, Daren (Colleen) Hornberger and Colleen (Jeffrey) Smith. Brother of Roy (Bette) Hornberger, late Gordon Hornberger, Gladys Radigan and Ethel Mammoser. Also survived by 12 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Family invites friends to call Sunday, May 31, 2015 from 2:00PM-7:00PM at the Laing Funeral Home Inc. 2724 W. Church St. Eden. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, June 1, 2015 10:00AM at St. Mary’s Church, East Eden, NY. Flowers gratefully declined. Memorials may be made to Roswell Park P.O.
