Obituary of Ethel D. Kappus

Ethel D. Kappus, age, 90, of Eden, New York died, Monday, June 29, 2015. She was born January 18, 1925 in Lackawanna, New York. She was a daughter of late Max. A. and Anna Sickau. She had a life-long dedication to the St. John’s Community Church in Eden. Alongside her husband; the late John W. Kappus, she ran the Kappus Family Farm on Shadagee Road. Ethel handled the book keeping in a precious and meticulous manner. She will be remembered for her flower and vegetable garden. Besides her parents, Ethel is predeceased in death by her loving husband John W. Kappus, a brother; Maxwell Sickau, 2 sisters; Elma Kaufman and Viola Anderson. She is survived by three sons; Kenneth (Patrice) Kappus, William (Nanette) Kappus and John (Kathy) Kappus, a sister; Edna Braman, six grandchildren and two great grandchildren Family invites friends to call on Thursday, July2, 2015 from 2-4PM &7-9PM at the Laing Funeral Home Inc 2724 W.
