Julia E. Agle Hausladen, age 100, of Eden, New York died Friday, September 4, 2015 at Mercy Hospital. Born in Eden, New York on February 12, 1915, a daughter of late George L. and Estella (Hickman) Agle.
Julia was the oldest lifelong Eden, New York resident. She founded, along with her husband Edward Agle, a family business, Agle’s Farm Market and Greenhouses. She worked the market along with her son, Richard for 46 years.
Julia was a life- long member of the St. Paul’s Lutheran Church and was an active member of the Ladies Guild for 65 years. She was a member of the Eden Day Bureau for 55 years and was a member of the Valparaiso University Guild for 45 years. She enjoyed Knitting, playing bridge and the piano.
Devoted wife of late Edward E. Agle and Charles L. Hausladen.
Loving mother of Richard E. (Pamela) Agle, Marjorie (Tom) Yarger and Beverly (James) Dossinger.
Step mother of Diane (John) Glenn and Richard (Diana) Hausladen.
Grandmother of 5 and Great Grandmother of 12.
Sister of Helen Ackerman and late Viola Richert, Mildred Schacher, Amelia Malte and Carlton Agle.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held 11AM Monday, September 7, 2015 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Eden.
