Obituary of Joan B. Stewart

Stewart, Joan Bernice (nee Dzubella)- It is with great sadness that the family of Joan announce her passing after a brief illness in which she entered into eternal peace on June 14, 2016 , at the age of 67. Joan is predeceased in death by her husband Cleason Stewart, her parents Walter and Irene (Heiderman) Dzubella, and her brother Walter. She leaves her loving memories to be cherished by her family. Left to honor Joan and remember her love are her siblings; Donald (Margaret), Janice (Ronald) Johnson, Carol (Larry Houck) Herr, Deborah (the late David, Paul Klinczar) Holscher, Richard (Mary), Mark (Joanne) and Norine (the late Thomas) Kubacki. In-laws; the late Rodney (Jenny) Stewart, James (MaryAnn) Cromwell, Barbara (Harry) Raue, Donald (Marleen) Cromwell, Shirley (Edward) Martin and William (Jane) Cromwell. 35 nieces and nephews and 56 great nieces and nephews and 1 great great niece along with countless other friends and family whom were blessed to know her. Joan nourished those in her life with her love and faith. She touched the lives of many people with her smile, care and concern for others. Joan will be remembered as a bright, shining light by those who loved her. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to The William Cromwell Family, Hospice Niagara, St. Elizabeth Nurses, Community Care Access Centres, and Para Med Home Health Care for their attentiveness and loving care in Joan’s final months and days. We will always carry Joan’s memory in our hearts. Her family will celebrate her life with a private graveside ceremony at St. Vincent De Paul Cemetery in North Evans, NY on June 23, 2016 at 1 pm.
