Robert W. Hauck, age 92, of East Eden, New York died Friday, July 8, 2016 at Mercy Hospital. Robert was born in East Eden, New York, the son of Clarence and Jessie Hauck. He married his loving wife, the former Mamie C. Vara in 1950 in St. Mary’s Church in East Eden. They were married for 63 years. He owned and operated the Hauck’s Farm for many year. He was a member of the Hamburg Moose Lodge #992. He was also a member of the United Steel Workers Local 2266. He loved farming’ enjoyed riding his tracktor mowing his lawn and having a Genesee Beer. He had a special love for wild life as he enjoyed the deer that came into his yard and feeding the birds.
Robert is survived by his two sons, Bill (Diane) Hauck and Ray (Barb) Hauck, nine grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and 1 Great-Great grandchild.
He also had 8 sisters.
Besides his parents, Robert is predeceased by his wife Mamie C. (nee Vara).
Family invites friends to call from 4pm-8pm Sunday, July 10, 2016 at the Laing Funeral Home Inc. 2724 W. Church St. Eden, NY, where a funeral service will be held Monday, July 11, 2016 at 11AM.
