Susan J. Carpenter (nee: House), age 84, of Eden, NY, was reunited with her husband, the late Norman C. Carpenter, on Friday, December 16, 2016. She was born in the small town of Barton, New York on April 11, 1932. She was a daughter of the late Solomon and Olive House.
Susan and Norman were married for 52 years.
She was known as a devoted Grandmother; making all of her grandchildren’s sporting events that she could.
Susan was an Elvis Presley enthusiast, collecting many Elvis memorabilia over her life time.
Loving wife of late Norman C. Carpenter, dearest mother of Cheryl Carpenter and Karen (Tim) Kraska.
Devoted grandmother of Caitlin, Chandler and Sabrina.
Sister of Gladys (late Michael) Kucher, Jack House, Carolyn (Robert) McCarthy, Betty (Peter) Plestis, late Edward House and Ella (Lawrence) Gallow.
Survived by many nieces and nephews.
Friends may call December 20th from 2-4PM & 7-9PM at the Laing Funeral Home Inc. 2724 W. Church St. Eden.
A funeral service will be held December 21st at 11AM in the Eden United Methodist Church 2820 E. Church St. Eden.
