BAUER-Dorothy F. (nee: Mammoser) Age 93 of East Eden, NY, went home to be with her Lord, surrounded by her loving family after a long battle with COPD on January 25, 2017 Beloved wife of the late Gilbert Bauer and late Theodore Wierzba. Loving mother of Karen (late Dick) Johansen, Donna Newman, Dennis (Gail) Wierzba, the late David Wierzba, Susan Miller and Wayne (Leah) Wierzba. Loving sister of Lillian Wierzba. Survived by 6 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by her loving parents Clemens and Rose Mammoser and 7 siblings. Dorothy worked in the Eden School District for decades until she retired. She also served her country as a riveter at the Curtis Plant in Buffalo during WWII. Flowers gratefully declined. Memorials may be made to Hospice Buffalo or Immaculate Conception Church in Eden. Family invites friends to call Feb. 3 from 2-4PM & 7-9PM at the Laing Funeral Home Inc. 2724 W. Church St. Eden.
