Obituary of Helen Ann Hunt

Helen Ann Hunt (nee: Floreno), age 81, of Eden, New York died peacefully in her home about 2AM on July 8, 2017.  She was born on March 14, 1936 in Hamburg, New York to the late Joseph and Rose (Rosato) Floreno.  

Mrs. Hunt will be remembered for her brilliant smile and cheerful disposition.  She enjoyed needle point, crocheting, crossword puzzles and ceramics and was known for “giving you a run for your money” while playing Five Hundred Rummy.  Mrs. Hunt had a vivid imagination, even teaching her children how to make the most amazing paper airplanes ever seen.  She enjoyed not only watching bowling on TV, but bowled for many years.

Mrs. Hunt left an everlasting impression on everyone she met and will be sadly missed by all.

Mrs. Hunt is the devoted wife of the late William F. Hunt and the loving mother of Helen A. Franklin and William Henry Hunt.  She is survived by seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren.  She is also the sister of Beatrice, Lawrence, Joseph, Rose and Anthony.

The Family invites friends to call from 4:00PM-7:00PM with a time for memories at 6:30PM on Thursday, July 13, 2017 at the Laing Funeral Home Inc., 2724 West Church St. Eden, NY 14057.

Flowers gratefully declined, instead memorials may be sent to Hospice Foundation of WNY, 225 Como Park Blvd., Cheektowaga, NY 14227.  This wonderful organization provides the care that both the patient and caregivers need.
