he will be whole-heartedly missed. he did not fear the impossible; instead quenching it with faith, he persevered, endured. he was always a tower of patience and strength; and a great example of love, generosity, and kindness. he was an intelligent, passionate, honest man, who espoused the principles of the golden rule, to treat others as you would like to be treated. although his responsibilities always came first, and way before he would consider himself, he could be light hearted and humorous. you could always hear him, in the kitchen preparing the evening meal, whistling his favorite song or singing the lyrics: "don't step on my blue suede shoes...". he always tried to make every holiday special, giving great care to all. we know you made it home dad. we will remember you often. thank you.
