Roy A. Hornberger, age 87, died in his home in East Eden, New York on Thursday, July 26, 2018.

He was born in East Eden, New York on August 19, 1930. He was a son of Chester and Mary Hornberger, Sr.

He married his loving wife; Bette J. Pineau on July 10, 1954 at St. Mary’s Church in East Eden. They were married for 64 years.

Roy enjoyed working on his dairy farm; Hornberger Brother’s Farm until his retirement. He enjoyed hunting, gardening, camping, traveling and playing cards.

Loving husband of Bette J. (nee: Pineau); devoted father of Linda (Richard) Skinner, Joyce (Steve) Cypra, Allen (Kathy) Hornberger and Sharon (Andrew) Breier. Brother of late Gordon Hornberger, Gladys Radigan, Ethel Mammoser and Chester Hornberger, Jr.

Also survived by 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Family and friends are invited to call Saturday, August 4th from 1-4PM at the Laing Funeral Home Inc., 2724 W. Church St. Eden, NY

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on August 6th at 10AM in Epiphany of Our Lord Church, 10893 Sisson Hwy., Langford, NY
