I am Mikey’s older sister. What I remember most is what a kind and caring person he was. We lived by a river and one time I hit a branch or something and cut my head and of course was bleeding. He (who is 5 1/2 younger) took me and said that he would take care of me and did well. I don’t do well with blood. Another time (same house) our dad painted my sister and my room so the beds got put in the boys’ room when I heard a thump, thump. I asked what that was and Mikey said that it was his frog in a box. Needless to say, I didn’t want it hopping out of the box so I put a book on the lid. The next morning he came down in tears because his frog was dead. Talk about feeling like dirt. I’m not sure if he knew because he never said anything. He liked to take care of living things. Even though we weren’t close as we lived a distance apart hardly a day went by that I didn’t think of him. May he RIP.
