Obituary of Kurt W. Wittenbrink

Devoted husband of Judy M Conners, loving father of Paul  “Obie” (Naima) Wittenbrink, Eric (Lori Baker) Wittenbrink, and Tim (Anna) Wittenbrink. Grandfather of Sasha, Sofia, Conner and Ethan. Brother of Tedd (Paulette) Wittenbrink. Brother in law of Barbara McGovern, Sue (Jerry) Kopryanski, Janice (Jack) O’Brien, Jim (Jamie) O’Brien, (late) Duane (Jane ) Conners and the (late) Jack Conners.  He is also survived by several loving nieces and nephews.

 Kurt was a father, papa, brother, and friend to many. He was a second father to his nephews, Aaron and Chris.  Kurt treated everyone he met with kindness and respect.

He was born in New Bremen, Ohio. He spent over 4 decades as a dedicated manager at US Airways.  Kurt loved many things in life – summers in Allegany, auto racing, traveling, and spending time with his family and friends. He had a knack for knowing something about everything – from home repairs to gardening and everything in-between.

 Above all , he loved and cherished his wife, Judy of 37 years.  Kurt was larger than life and his legacy will live on in the hearts of those he touched.

 Family and friends invited to call Sunday from 1-4 & 7-9 at the Laing Funeral Home Inc. 2724 W. Church St. Eden. Mass will be celebrated Monday at 11am in Immaculate Conception Church, Eden NY. Memorials can be made in his name to the Eden-North Collins Food Pantry, PO Box 76, Eden NY 14057.
