I met Mr. Flynn many years. I got to know him through his daughter Barb and my brother Randy. He was a very kind and sweet man. He loves his family so much. It is sad that we won't be seeing him in person anymore, but for all that knows Mr. Flynn knows he is in there hearts and in there memories. We all have our own pictures and we can share them in words as we remember what a great man he is. A message to Mrs. Flynn. Please know that you can call and talk to all those around you. We will do all we can to keep you safe and strong and share our love with you. Please call me if you need anything. You are in my prayers and on my mind.
God Bless all of your family may Mr. Flynn rest in peace.

It is always hard to lose a parent; there is never an easy way. I lost my Mom (my soul) suddely in 99 and I had no time to prepare. My father the following year and we were still trying to build a relationship after a long and rocky road. Now, my DAD, well that is another story all together. We were given 3 weeks to 3 months to prepare and the end came way too soon. Dad has been my "Pal" and "Pappy" since I was just 16. He didn't have to be here for me, but he always was. When we were kicking back at the trailer having a few beers in front of the fires. Dad always asked me to pick up the beer becuase he would say "what Mom didn't know wouldn't hurt her". Or when we were comparing our treasure finds from our garage sale buys. Dad and I just connected. He was the one solid male figure in a messed up girls life. He understood what I needed when I needed it, usually before I did. He never criticized or yelled, but with one of those devil looks you knew he either approved or disapproved of your actions. He was always there for me or anyone else who needed anything. He took the time to remove the awful bold yellow flower wallpaper from my hallway when we first moved into our house, just because he knew how much I hated it and I didn't have the time to do it myself.
Dad accepted me and my whole family into his life and he will always be my Dad or "Pappy" to my sisters. We will always remember our family camping trips together. Just to sit back and think of the hundreds of birthday, christenings, communions and weddings we shared. Or think about the piano/dance recitals, baseball, soccer or football games this man has been to. Let's not forget the school plays, graduations and award banquets he attended. That is a man who is a family man 100% of the time. He made time for everyone, not only his own 7 children but also the 7 additonal he got when he added the Pruchnicki's as part of his family.
I will be empty without Dad in my life, he undertood the real me like no one else did or will.
Love you Dad
Your daughter Cindy

Dad, I am at peace knowing in you will still be a part of our daily lives but in a different way. For example, your four sons are very much like you, their kindness and concern for others is a true testimate to your example as a husband, father and friend. The way you taught them to be gentlemen and always love and respect women, put family first, be honest, work hard and be happy. In your daughters, I see your strength, strong will and devotion to family. Caring for everyone, especially Mom. They are like a beacon of "your" light shining down on us. Then there is your grandchildren; each different but in so many ways alike. Whether it's your baby blue eyes, your devilish smile, the ability to tell a good story, tease one another, conjure up a good prank or just know when to be serious lend an ear or helping hand when one is needed. Together they represent all the fun and good from Grandpa, they might not see it, but I do. Over the past few days as we looked through pictures taken with you Dad, many good times have been talked about, be it camping, hunting, sports, or one of the many projects you would "supervise" to make sure we did it right!
As for me...I feel blessed to be part of the Flynn family, Mike is very much his father's son, lucky me!
Dad, I will miss our talks. You always made me feel like a daughter never a daughter-in-law. All my love, Lin
