So sad to hear of Hank's passing!! He will always be fondly remembered by the students at Silver Creek who were fortunate enough to have him as their bus driver!! He drove a class of Spec-Ed students to their horseback riding time in Springville, and I can still see him in his Western hats and hear him serenading all of us with his Western songs. He made such an everlasting impression on us. Heaven has gained a truly special man and I sure he is serenading everyone up there!! Fly high, Hank....hope to see and hear you again!

Verna and Family,
Our thoughts and prayers go out to you at this time in your life. He was a very nice man that loved his family. He was a good example of an Oklahoma cowboy. We enjoyed his singing. We know now he is in a better place. May God be with you during this period of time.

Hank was a real Oklahoma Cowboy who could sing, an officer and gentlemen, an adventurer, a man who fought the greatest battle known to man with positive attitude and armed with his courage and fighting spirit as his only weapons.

Hank was a awesome man. I knew him in 1973-1974, he was my brother-in-law, Jerry Elling’s cousin. My husband had ALS, and passed August 21, 2017. I talked with Hank and Verna several times on the phone, about my husband and Hank having ALS. I know what you are going through, Verna. God bless you and your family. Now Hank is with our Lord and has a healthy spiritual body.
