August 22, 2019 of Eden, NY at age 57. Loving husband of Kathy (Luba) Smith; beloved father of Leanne (Edmund) Jamison, Zachary, Jacob, Rebecca (Zackary) Eastman, Rachel (Camron) Zerbian; dearest grandfather of Maya, Ethan and Elias Jamison and Adrianna Eastman; cherished brother of Father Art Smith, Maureen (Anthony) Cancilla, Daniel (late Dereth), Mary, Michael (Rosanne), late Peter, Joni (David) Covelli, Vincent (Michelle), Margaret (Jeff) Potter and Paul (Janet); beloved son of the late Arthur J. and Frances R. (Stearns) Smith and survived by brother in law to Louis (Angela), Brian (Andrea), and Timothy ( Karen) Luba, dear son in law to Elaine Luba, numerous nieces, nephews, aunt, cousins and friends.  Friends are invited to celebrate PJ’s life at the Laing Funeral Home Inc., 2724 W Church St, Eden, NY, Sunday, August 25 from 1-3 and 6-8 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Thomas Aquinas Church,450 Abbott Rd Buffalo, Monday morning at 11:15 AM. Priests are invited to concelebrate.
