Obituary of Marie E. Hart

Marie E. Hart, age 56 of Eden, New York died Tuesday, January 28, 2020 in her home surrounded by her family. She was born on May 7, 1963 in Lackawanna, New York. She was a daughter of the late Harold G. and Miriam (Hoelscher) Haier. She married her loving husband, the late Gregory A. Hart, on September 10, 1988 at St. Mary’s Church, East Eden, New York. Greg died on November 12, 2016. Marie was a member of the Eden American Legion Ladies Auxiliary. Marie was an advocate for St. Jude’s Hospital. She had a strong faith; which helped her turn the negatives in life into positives. Marie had a passion for golf. She was able to bond with her sons over a round of golf. Family was everything to Marie. Marie was the devoted wife of the late Gregory A. Hart; loving mother of Joseph (Diane) Hart and Michael (Nicole Finnigan) Hart and was the proud grandmother of Presley Marie Hart. Sister of Dolores (Dennis) Trimm, Alice (Edward) Bugenhagen, Sr. Cecelia Haier, FSSJ., Edith Haier, Harold (Lori) Haier, Joan (Brian) Eiskant, Rose (Richard) Armbruster, Albert (Karen) Haier, Joseph (Jill) Haier and the late Marian Haier. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited call Friday, January 31, 2020 from 1-3PM and 6-9PM at the Laing Funeral Home Inc. 2724 W.
