Obituary of Floyd F. Fried

Floyd Frank Fried of Eden, formerly of Orchard Park, died peacefully Monday at his home. He was 62. Born in Buffalo, Mr. Fried was a graduate of the Eastman School of Music. For 33 years, he was a band director at various Buffalo public schools. In his retirement, Mr. Fried was an avid member of the Lotus Owners of New York driving club. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Mr. Fried is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Micheline (nee Kasper); his mother, Concetta; two daughters, Jill (Martin) and Jessica (Gavin) Lankford; a son, Andrew; a granddaughter, Elizabeth Lankford and a step-grandson, Ryan Allen. Mr. Fried's family invites friends to call from 4 - 8PM on Wednesday, November 3rd at the Laing Funeral Home 2724 W. Church St. Eden, New York.
