David was a dear friend, we first met at Florida Military School in 1964 sitting next to each other in the chow hall, and we were friends ever since. David spent some vacations with me in Fernandina Beach, my family loved David, and he loved my family. Best wishes to David’s family. Michael Armstrong FMS 1967

Dave have not seen you in a few years but still remember the good times we had at the Erie Co Fair when you were playing policeman with the New York State Police on the fair security detail. I will never forget the good times we had at the Troopers Coalition in Del, & PA with your dad. We had a lot of good time with the other members of State Police from other states and we even stayed out of trouble because ZSgt Kailborne was watching over us. David I knew you were a dedicated Trooper I wished you have worked with us here in NY but you found your nitche and you did a great job. Rest in Peace
Jerry Warren, New York State Police Troop A (Retired)

We grew up together. First cousins only one year apart. I have many fond memories of the family gatherings, opening Christmas presents together, time spent at family compounds at the lake and the early Florida trips to our grandparents and aunt and uncles homes in DeLand. I'll miss your emails. Have a good journey cousin.

Started m career riding with Dave when I was on the FHPA. Then spent many years working as a zone partner with him. You can not find a better zone partner that would always have your back. Dave was a dear friend and will be missed. He is a one of a kind.
