Mary Ann Cummiskey (nee: Krauss), age 88, of Eden, New York died Tuesday, November 3, 2020. She was born in Eden, New York on July 9, 1932. She was a daughter of the late Gilbert and Cecilia (Winkelman) Krauss. She was a lifelong resident in the Eden area. She was a graduate of the Buffalo School of Nursing. She graduated as a Registered Nurse. She worked as a head nurse at Buffalo General Hospital. For over 20 years she was the school nurse at the Eden Central School. She was the loving wife the late of Edward P. Cummiskey. Together they had four children; Jeffrey (Cindee), Amy, Joseph and Matthew Cummiskey. She is the grandmother of Nicole and Meghan. She is also survived by a sister, FloraMay (Maurice) Dole. Mary Ann was the twin to a brother, Marion, who passed away as an infant. She will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, other family and friends. Family and friends invited to call Friday from 5-9PM at the Laing Funeral Home Inc. 2724 W. Church St. Eden, NY followed by a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday at 10:30AM in SS Peter and Paul Church, Hamburg, NY.
