Gregoire (Greg) Albert Poulin, (Opa) 79, of Eden, NY formerly of Fort Erie, Ontario Canada. Died a tragic sudden death on Friday November 19, 2010. He was born in St. Victor Beauce Quebec.
He was the father of Jacqueline (Carlos) Poulin-Fortunato, Christine (Bob) Kwandrans and Pauline (Gateon) Beaudry. The beloved companion of Walene Zizzo. He is survived by his brothers; Victor, John, Michael, Gilles; nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was a retired boilermaker at Nicholson - Hall where he worked for more than 35 years.
He enjoyed outdoor activities such as gardening and cross country skiing. He enjoyed spending time in Franklinville, NY entertaining friends and family, cooking Belgium waffles and homemade bread and canning. He continued to learn, taking classes in Spanish. He was generous, always the first to run to the cashier and pay the bill.
He was known by his family and friends as Poppa Gred, GP, Greg, Opa and Old Pops.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Mass on Tuesday November 23 at 10:00 am in Immaculate Conception Church, 8783 S. Main St. Eden, NY.
