Phil Charette, at age 44, an Eden, NY native, passed away peacefully in his childhood home on May 4, 2021 after a long battle with stage 4 lymphoma. A graduate of Eden High school and Alfred State College, Phil led a successful career in event and hotel management in Buffalo, NY, Washington D.C., Baltimore, MD, Cleveland, OH, and Tampa/St. Petersburg, FL. He is survived by his parents, Ellyn and Phil Charette, his sister Nicole McMahon (Michael McMahon), nephews William and Connor McMahon, special cousin, Jillian Weidner, many cousins, friends, and aunts and uncles who loved him dearly. A limited capacity service will be held at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church (3487 N Boston Rd., Eden, NY) on Friday, May 7th at 11am where his magnetic personality and love of life will be reflected on. A celebration of life gathering will be held later this summer. Flowers gratefully declined. Memorials may be made to Hospice of WNY or St. Paul’s Lutheran Church.
