What a beautiful life Claudia led! I was privileged to know her as a child spending summers at Sunset Bay. Many years later we met again to share a common interest in family history. I learned many things from Claudia. Once we spent an afternoon walking around the Eden cemetery. It seems not long ago that Claudia and her mom graciously hosted Bill and me at their cottage. We also enjoyed meeting Bryan at Tom’s restaurant in Irving. I will miss her and send my sympathy to Cathy and family.

I am so sorry to hear of Ms. Markhams passing. She was my 5th grade teacher in the 80’s. She was an amazing person and teacher. She was even crazy enough to have 5 of us girls sleep over at her house! I know we drove her and her mother crazy and she probably never did it again! Ha! I am glad I was able to run into her over the years and share memories with her. She truly left a big mark in my life. Prayers for solace and healing to her family.

Connie and I were sorry to hear about Claudia, we visited her grave site yesterday. My memories of her and sister Cathy take me back to Chautauqua Lake at the cottage of her Uncle Niles and Aunt Thelma Roesser when Claudia was very young.
